My Dutch Babies


4 eggs

1 cup flour

1 cup milk

¼ teaspoon salt (optional, I do not use it)

4 tablespoons butter


Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

In a Pyrex dish or cast iron pan place the butter in and put dish in the oven for approximately 3-5 minutes or until butter is melted.

Place eggs in a blender and blend them. To the beaten eggs add milk and pulse. Once combined, add the flour (& salt if you are using it). Blend till combined.

Take the dish out of the oven and pour the mixture into to the hot dish.

Return to the oven and bake for approximately 25 minutes or until puffed up. (Keep an eye out as all oven temperatures vary)

Remove from oven and spread butter on top, sprinkle with powdered sugar or topping of your choice and serve!
